Today was our last day in Oregon. Just like last year, we visited Powell’s and went for a nice walk around Portland. While I’m sad our little vacation is drawing to a close, I am looking forward to seeing the mao maos again and sleeping in my comfy bed.

I decided to get some pictures of our hotel before we headed out to dinner. One thing I really like about this hotel is the design; I love the minimalist look with all the contemporary photography. The olive green-brown combination is pretty keen too! I’ve always liked those colors together… The addition of ebony and white lends to a crisp, yet earthy, feel.

Today was very fun, albeit a bit tiring. This morning, Jeff and I made breakfast and then decided (through several tension-filled rounds of rock-paper-scissors) to drive out to Tombstone Pass in Willamette National Forest. There was more snow than I could shake a stick at! It was so beautiful out there. Naturally, silliness ensued upon our arrival…
