Butters has decided that he will suffer the indignity of his cat cone no longer.

In what is possibly his craftiest move ever, Butters has managed to remove and hide his cat cone. And he managed to do this in the span of a couple of minutes! When I looked at him right after leaving the kitchen with a bowl of coconut curry and rice, he was lying in his basket looking depressed, cone intact. 10 minutes later when I got up to put my empty bowl in the kitchen sink, he was lying in his basket sans cone. What the schnarfle?! Needless to say, he seems much happier now that he can lick his feet and actually put his head down. Added bonus: his eyes are looking good too! Woo hoo!

Butters’ collar has been found! The noble Pod Leader was looking for something near his computer, and lo and behold! There was Butters’ collar. To think it was practically next to my desk this entire time. Oh that crafty, crafty Butters…

The sink is all fixed and bee-you-tee-ful again. w00t.

In other news, Butters’ collar is still MIA. Damn his crafty arse!

Why, why, why?!

The water in the sink is warm, smells like old beef grease, and is full of what looks like chunks of potting soil. Gross. Thankfully, the nasty water (as of 8:00 this evening) has started draining. The landlord told us that the plumber would come by in the morning. Looks like I’ll have to go on another cleaning spree soon…

In other news, Butters, in what I am sure was an attempt to imitate Scuttlebutt, has lost his collar. Butters is definitely the craftier of the two mao maos, however, as he managed to do a better job of hiding his collar than Scuttles did with his. I have looked everywhere and I still can’t find the blasted thing.
