Yesterday was our propose-a-versary, meaning we simply had to go back to Descanso Gardens and have a picnic just like we did last year.
We had lots of fun revisiting the areas we went to the first time around and seeing some new places as well…

Today was our last day in Oregon. Just like last year, we visited Powell’s and went for a nice walk around Portland. While I’m sad our little vacation is drawing to a close, I am looking forward to seeing the mao maos again and sleeping in my comfy bed.

I decided to get some pictures of our hotel before we headed out to dinner. One thing I really like about this hotel is the design; I love the minimalist look with all the contemporary photography. The olive green-brown combination is pretty keen too! I’ve always liked those colors together… The addition of ebony and white lends to a crisp, yet earthy, feel.

Today we headed over to Chinatown to visit the Chinese gardens. It was kind of weird to see a classical garden right smack in the middle of a bunch of skyscrapers, but the grounds were quite bee-yoo-tee-ful…
